Rooms and surfaces we paint

  • Living Rooms, Family Rooms and Dining Rooms

The high-traffic spaces where scuffs show.

  • Bedrooms and Closets

Including the inside of the closet, which most quotes leave out.

  • Kitchens and Bathrooms

Moisture-rated paint that won't blister over the shower.

  • Ceilings

Flat white or a shade off your wall color, your call.

  • Trim, doors and baseboards

Sprayed or brushed depending on the room.

  • Stairwells and two-story entryways

The ones you can't reach yourself.

  • Basements and laundry rooms

Masonry primer where the walls need it.

Painting one room or the whole house, the process is the same.

Drywall Repair Comes with it

Cracks over doorways, nail pops, the hole behind the door handle, water staining under a bathroom, seams that were never taped right. We fix all of it as part of the painting, not as a separate trade you have to schedule first.

If a wall needs more than patching — a whole sheet replaced, or ceiling damage from a leak — we'll tell you at the walkthrough and it'll be a line on the estimate, not a surprise on day three.

What you're actually paying for

Most of an interior paint job isn't painting. It's the prep — filling nail holes, patching cracks, sanding, caulking where the baseboard meets the wall.

That's what decides whether your walls look flat or whether you see every patch in the afternoon light. It's also the easiest part to skip, which is why two quotes for the same house can be a thousand dollars apart.

We don't skip it.

How we paint an interior

1. We move and cover everything

Furniture to the middle of the room and under plastic. Floors get canvas drops, not the thin plastic that slides around. Outlet and switch plates come off, not taped over.

2. We Fix the Walls

Nail holes filled, cracks cut out and patched, dents skimmed. Every patch gets sanded flush and spot-primed so it doesn't flash through the finish coat.

3. We Caulk

Where trim meets wall, where baseboard meets floor, around door casings. It's tedious and it's the difference between crisp lines and a job that looks like a rental.

4. We Prime What Needs It

Bare patches, water stains, dark colors going light, anything glossy. Not every wall needs primer and we won't charge you for coats you don't need.

5. Two Finish Coats

Cut in by hand, rolled out, and back-rolled so the texture matches wall to wall.

6. We Put Your House Back

Plates back on, furniture back where it was, floors vacuumed. Then we walk it with you and fix whatever you point at before we load the truck.

The paint we use

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, and which line depends on the room. Bathrooms and kitchens get something that stands up to moisture. Hallways and kids' rooms get a scrubbable finish. Ceilings get flat so they hide imperfections instead of highlighting them.

Low-VOC and zero-VOC options are standard now and cost very little extra. Worth it if anyone in the house is sensitive to the smell, or if you want to sleep in the room the same night.

If you want help choosing colors, we'll bring samples and put them on your wall so you can look at them in your own light for a few days. Paint chips lie under store fluorescents.

How our painting process works

1. Free walkthrough

We come out, look at the actual rooms or the actual siding, and talk through colors and sheen. Usually thirty to forty-five minutes.

2. Written estimate

You get an itemized price, normally within twenty-four hours. Take your time with it.

3. We paint, then you inspect

Floors and furniture covered, prep done properly, then paint. Before we load the truck we walk the job with you and fix anything you point at.
