Where We Work — Mokena and the Southwest Suburbs

We're based in Mokena and we work within about a 30-minute drive of it. That covers most of eastern Will County and the southwest corner of Cook County.

We keep the radius tight on purpose. A crew that's driving 50 minutes each way is a crew that starts late and quits early.

Towns we work in most

  • Mokena

Home base. The village center is older; most everything else went up in the 1990s and 2000s. Those houses are at the age where the trim needs attention before the siding does.

  • New Lenox

Fifteen minutes west, same era of building. Vinyl siding, painted wood trim, and a lot of decks going grey.

  • Frankfort

Historic downtown on one end, newer subdivisions on the other — two different kinds of job. If you're in an HOA, check whether your color needs approval before we order paint.

  • Homer Glen

Bigger lots, bigger exteriors. More detached garages, more fencing, and more deck square footage than anywhere else we work.

  • Lockport

The oldest housing stock in our range. Near the canal you get plaster inside and real wood siding outside, and lead paint is a live consideration on anything pre-1978. That's a different job than a 1998 subdivision.

  • Joliet

The biggest city we cover and the widest spread of housing — century-old homes downtown, post-war bungalows, newer construction at the edges. Twenty to thirty minutes depending on the side.

  • Tinley Park

Mostly post-war through 1990s subdivisions. A lot of aluminum and vinyl siding out here has never been painted, and painting it is the best thing you can do to a house of that era short of replacing it.

  • Orland Park

Larger homes, a lot of brick with painted trim and soffit. Trim, shutters, front doors and garage doors make up more of the job here than elsewhere.

Not sure if you're in range?

Call us 708-295-3475. If you're roughly half an hour from Mokena, the answer is almost certainly yes, and if you're on the edge we'll tell you straight instead of driving out and padding the number.

We'd rather turn down a job that's too far than take it and do it badly.

What we do

Also within range

We regularly work in Frankfort Square, Manhattan, Crest Hill, Orland Hills, Lemont, Oak Forest, Palos Heights, Palos Park, Romeoville, Shorewood, Channahon and Plainfield, along with the smaller towns in between.

How our painting process works

1. Free walkthrough

We come out, look at the actual rooms or the actual siding, and talk through colors and sheen. Usually thirty to forty-five minutes.

2. Written estimate

You get an itemized price, normally within twenty-four hours. Take your time with it.

3. We paint, then you inspect

Floors and furniture covered, prep done properly, then paint. Before we load the truck we walk the job with you and fix anything you point at.
